I'm Ric "Lightnin" Hopkins

I have been a professional recording engineer for over 30 years. Before starting my studio, I was head engineer at Jewel Records for 12 years, where I recorded and mixed over 250 albums, and I was engineer/producer at AVN, a corporate media production facility, working with many of Cincinnati's large corporations producing sound for their corporate meetings, videos and corporate communications.

I have now engineered and help produce over 500 albums, including a CD that was nominated for a Grammy award, and several national releases, have produced 3 CD's that got the artist a development deal with major labels, and have recorded every genre of musical style.
